Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company responded to a second alarm fire in the township. Fire broke out in the rear of 1524 Oakmont Drive. Crews were able to contain the fire within 20 minutes. Fire which is believed to be caused by smoldering ashes, is currently ruled accidental.

Early December 29, 2021, Station 18 was dispatched by Lycoming County 911 for reported working fire with possible entrapment. Chief 18, Chief 1-18, and Chief 2-18 arrived on scene and confirmed reported dispatch.

Early morning on December 23, 2021, Tanker 18 was dispatched to Third Alarm Fire in Woodward Township. Tanker 18 responded with a crew of 4 to the scene. On arrival, Tanker 18 dumped water on board into portable water supply set up on scene.
