Bloomingrove Road Fire
Wednesday, August 7th, 2019

Wednesday afternoon, Station 18 was dispatched to a working residential fire on Bloomingrove Road. Mutual Aid Companies were also dispatched on the initial alarm. First Arriving units from the City of Williamsport confirmed working trailer home fire with smoke showing from the structure. Chief 1-18 assumed command with Chief 1 as initial operations. Second Alarm Tankers were requested due to lack of fire hydrants in the area. Crews quickly performed initial search, extinguished the fire and performed ventilation. Home was communicated and found to be vacant. On behalf of Loyalsock Township, we would like to thank our mutual aid companies for their quick response and assistance. Thanks to the community and immediate neighbors allowing us to shut down Bloomingrove Road this afternoon in response to today's incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
