Thursday, December 31, 2009 - At 0120 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the intersection of Sycamore Rd and Lincoln Drive. The initial dispatched stated 1 vehicle on it's side and unknown injuries. MICU 18 arrived on-scene to find one vehicle partially in the roadway on its side with no occupants inside. Rescue 18 stabilized the vehicle and controlled all fluid hazards. Units responding were Rescue 18, MICU 18 and Station 18 Fire Police.

Tuesday, December 22, 2009 - At 1910 hours Station 18, Engine 15, and Squad 14 were dispatched to an MVA in the area of Williamsport Auto Sales & Service on Lycoming Creek Rd with unknown injuries. Squad 14 was first to arrive on-scene an report 2 vehicles still in the roadway and no injuries. Rescue 18 arrived on-scene shortly after and assumed command. Station 14 and 15 units were released and Rescue 18 crew assisted with hazard control and lighting. Scene was left to Station 14 and 15 Fire Police and all other units went available. Units Responding were Rescue 18, MICU 18, Squad 14, Engine 15, Stations 14, 15, and 18 Fire Police.

   
Friday, December 11, 2009 - At 0010 Hrs Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the intersection of Washington Blvd. and Shiffler Ave with no injuries. MICU 18 was first to arrive on-scene and found 1 vehicle in the parking lot and 1 vehicle still in the roadway, no injuries. Rescue 18 responded and provided traffic control until fire police arrived and checked for/controlled all hazards. Units responding were Rescue 18, Special Unit 18, MICU 18 and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Saturday, November 28, 2009 - At approx. 1330 hours Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA in the area of the Olive Garden on East Third Street. Platoon Chief 91 was on-scene and reported two vehicles, 1 still in the roadway, no injuries. Rescue 18 and Station 18 Fire Police responded and assisted with traffic control and debris removal.

   
Wednesday, November 25, 2009 - On the eve of Thanksgiving, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the intersection of Shiffler Ave. and Washington Blvd. at approx 1915 hours. MICU 18 arrived on-scene to find 2 vehicles, 1 on it's roof with confinement. Rescue 18 personnel stabilized the vehicle and used tools to open the door in order to extricate the patient. Units responding in addition to MICU 18 and Rescue 18 were Special Unit 18 and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Saturday, October 24, 2009 - At approx 1800 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA with reported injuries at the 1700 block of East Third Street. Chief 3-18 arrived on-scene to find 2 vehicles off the roadway, 1 into the bushes in front of Pizza Hut, all occupants out of the vehicles. Rescue 18, Ambulance 18, Medic 1-91, and Station 18 Fire Police responded and Ambulance 18 transported 1.

   
Monday, October 19, 2009 - At approx. 0955 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to Interstate 180 Eastbound for an MVA with at least 4 injuries. MICU 18 arrived on-scene to find two vehicles, one being a dump truck, partially in the roadway and median, occupants still inside the car. MICU quickly identified there were two Class 3 and two Class 2 patients. Rescue 18 arrived on-scene and removed the roof from the vehicle to help with the extrication of the patients. Ambulance 18, Ambulance 1-18, and Ambulance 1-20 handled the transports to the Williamsport hospital. Other units responding were Engine 18, Platoon Chief 91, Medic 1-91, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Sunday, October 11, 2009 - At approx 1300 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA on Warrensville Road just north of Four Mile Drive with report of a head-on collision and entrapment. Units arrived on scene to find two vehicles with heavy damage, 1 on it's roof, with multiple injuries. Rescue 18 personnel used rescue tools to extricate 1 patient from the vehicle. Command requested 2 additonal BLS units to the scene in addition to the 2 ALS units responding (MICU 18 and Platoon Chief 91). Platoon Chief 91 was soon recalled by Command and returned to service. MICU 18, Ambulance 18, and Ambulance 1-18 handled transports. Units responding were Engine 18, Rescue 18, Special Unit 18, Brush 18, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Thursday, October 08, 2009 - At approx 1230 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to the 2100 Blk of Warrensville road for an MVA with unknown injuries. MICU 18 arrived on-scene to find 1 vehicle on it's side, all occupants out. No hazards were found and MICU 18 obtained 1 patient refusal. Units responding were Rescue 18, Ambulance 18, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Tuesday, September 29, 2009 - At approx. 1900 hours Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the interserction of Northway Road and East Third Street. MICU 18 arrived on-scene to find two vehicles in the roadway all occupants out of the vehicles and fluids leaking. Rescue 18 responded to control the fluid hazards. Also responding were Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Tuesday, September 22, 2009 - At approx. 1530 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the intersection of Sheridan and Shiffler Streets. Initial report had 1 injury with the patient unresponsive. MICU 18 arrived on-scene to find two vehicles, 1 patient still inside. Rescue 18 responded and assisted with the extrication of the patient by popping the driverside door and stabilization. Units responding beside MICU 18 and Resuce 18 were Engine 18, Special Unit 18, Medic 1-91, Platoon Chief 91, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Saturday, August 15, 2009 - At 1127 hours Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the intersection of Northway Road and Loyalsock Ave, reported 1 injury. Units arriving on-scene confirmed 1 injury and multiple vehicles involved. Units Responding were Rescue 18, Ambulance 18, Medic 1-91, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Saturday, August 15, 2009 - While on-scene of the MVA at Northway and Loyalsock Ave, Station 18 was dispatched to another MVA on the 1300 block of Commerece Park Drive. Resuce 18 was placed back in service along with Ambulance 18 and both units responded. Medic 1-91 was the first to arrive on-scene and reported two vehicles in the roadway, occupants still in the vehicle. Resuce 18 arrived and assisted with hazard and traffic control. Medic 1-91 and Ambulance 18 were placed back in service after obtaining refusals. Units responding in addition to Rescue 18, Ambulance 18, and Medic 1-91 were Ambulance 1-20 and Engine 1-20 (because station 18 units were on previous incident), and Station 18 Fire Police. Station 20 units were recalled by command.

   
Saturday, August 15, 2009 - After briefly returning to service from the previous two incidents, Station 18 was dispatched to the intersection of E. Third Street and Clayton Ave. for an MVA involving a motorcyclist. Units arrived on-scene to find the motorcyclist still down in the roadway and immediately asked for the availability of LifeFlight. Due to another incident, LifeFlight 4 out of Montoursville was unavailable so MICU 18 transfered 1 to the Williamsport Hospital, emergency conditions. Units responding were MICU 18, Ambulance 18, Rescue 18, Engine 18, Special Unit 18, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Sunday, August 09, 2009 - While on other incidents during the storm, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the intersection of Northway Road Extentsion and Poco Farm Rd. When units arrived on scene, they found one vehicle into a pole with no injuries or hazards. The pole was sheared off and PP&L was notified and added it to their growing list of incidents. Units on scene were Rescue 18, Special Unit 18, Brush 18, and Fire Police.

   
Saturday, August 08, 2009 - At approx. 1330 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to the 1600 block of Warrensville Road for an MVA with unknown injuries, vehicle on its roof. Ambulance 18 arrived on-scene reported 1 vehicle down an embankment on its roof and the occupant was out of the vehicle. Rescue 18 responded and assisted with hazard controls. Units responding were Ambulance 18, Rescue 18, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Thursday, August 06, 2009 - At 2225 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA with possible entrapment with unknown injuries in the area of Four Mile Drive and Madden Rd. MICU 18 arrived on scene, reported no injuries, and all occupants out of the vehicle. The vehicle was found to be on it's roof and the accident was on Madden Rd. Units Responding were Rescue 18, MICU 18, Ambulance18, Engine 18, Special Unit 18, Brush 18, and Fire Police.

   
Tuesday, July 28, 2009 - At approx. 0930 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched for a reported MVA with a motorcyclist down, unresponsive at the intersection of Four Mile Drive and Richards Ave. Ambulance 18 immediately put Lifeflight on stand-by and arrived on-scene to find 1 person still laying in the roadway. Ambulance 18 transported the patient to the Montoursville Airport where Lifeflight 4 was waiting to transport the patient to Geisinger Medical Center. Units responding were Rescue 18, Special Unit 18, Ambulance 18, Medic 1-91, Platoon Chief 91, and Station 18 Fire Police.

   
Saturday, July 11, 2009 - At 2028 hrs,Station 18 was dispatched to a reported MVA with entrapment, patient unresponsive in the area of 91 Cemetery Road, Loyalsock Township. Chief 2-18 arrived on-scene and confirmed one injury with no entrapment. Units arrived on scene to stabilze the vehicle and assist EMS with patient packaging. Units Responding were Rescue 18, Engine 18, MICU 18, Ambulance 18, Special Unit 18, and Station 18 Fire Police who shut down Cemetery Road at Bloomingrove and Wildwood. Engine 15 was also dispatched and staged on Cemetery Road before being released by command.

   
Thursday, July 09, 2009 - At approx 1905 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA in the area of Kimble Hill Road. First unit on scene reported one pickup truck on its side with the driver pinned under the truck. The patient was found to be ejected out the back window of the truck and had his legs pinned underneath the cab of the truck. The patient was extricated and placed in the ambulance for transport to the landing zone within 10 minutes. Engine 18 had control of the LZ which was set up at LTHS. Units on scene were Rescue 18, MICU 18, Medic 1-91, Platoon Chief 91, Engine 18, SU 18 and Fire Police. The SU and fire police controlled the scene by blocking off both ends of Kimble Hill Road. The patient ended up being transported by LF4 to GMC.

   
Friday, June 26, 2009 - At approx 1530 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA with reported 1 injury. Rescue 18 arrived on scene to find two vehicles still in the roadway, 1 injured inside a nearby beauty salon, and fluids leaking. Units responding were Rescue 18, Special Unit and Brush 18 for traffic control, Ambulance 1-20, and Platoon Chief 91.

 
Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - At approx. 1415 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to 2345 Warrensville road for a reported MVA with injuries. Ambulance 18 was the first to arrive on-scene and found 2 vehicles with heavy damage. After checking on injuries, Ambulance 18 requested 3 additional BLS to the scene for a reported 4 patients and confirmed confinement. Units responding to the scene were Ambulance 18, Rescue 18, Ambulance 20, Ambulance 1-20, Ambulance 22, Medic 1-91, Platoon Chief 91, and MICU 91 (recalled). Tuesday, June 09, 2009 - At approx. 1400 hours Station 18 was dispatched to East 3rd street in the area of Blockbuster Video for an MVA involving a motorcycle. Units arrived to find 3 vehicles involved and the motorcyclist still laying in the roadway. MICU 18, Ambulance 18, Rescue 18 and Fire Police responded,

   
Monday, June 08, 2009 - At approx 1130 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the 1700 block of East Third Street. Units on scene found 2 vehicles blocking the roadway with fluids leaking and atleast two injuries. Units found 1 patient to be confined in the vehicle. The patient was extricated by Rescue 18 crew. Units on scene were Rescue 18, MICU 18, Ambulance 18, Ambulance 20, and Fire police.

Tuesday, June 02, 2009 - At approx 1600 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at Shiffler Ave and Washington Blvd. Units on scene reported no hazards but 1 injury. The patient was transported to SHED. Units on scene included Rescue 18, Engine 18, MICU 18, Ambulance 18, Special Unit 18, and fire police. Once the roadway was clear, all units returned available.

Monday, June 01, 2009 - At approx 1715 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to Warrensville Road and East Third Street for a reported MVA, PSP already on scene. First arriving unit found 2 vehicles in the roadway, no injuries, no hazards. Units on scene were Rescue 18, Special Unit 18, Brush 18, MICU 18, and fire police. Traffic control was utilized due to the construction on I 180 and congestion from the accident. Units returned available after roadway was clear.

   
Monday, May 18, 2009 - At 0130 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA on Nottingham Road with reported 1 injury. MICU 18, Special Unit 18, and Rescue 18 responded and found that the driver had fled the scene. MICU returned to service with no patient found and Rescue 18 controlled fluid hazards and returned to service.

   
Monday, May 18, 2009 - At 1830 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA with rollover and unknown injuries on Interstate 180 East Bound. Units on scene found 1 vehicle and MICU transported 2 patients. Units on scene consisted of Rescue 18, MICU 18, SU 18 and Fire police.

Monday, May 18, 2009 - At 2126 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to a bicyclist struck by a vehicle at the 1800 blk of Four Mile Drive. RP stated “person in the roadway not moving”. Upon that report, the Communications Center placed Life Flight on standby. Rescue 18 arrived on scene and found 1 patient sitting in the roadway talking to bystanders. Upon patient assessment, MICU 18 stood down Life Flight and transported the patient to the Williamsport Hospital ER. Units on scene were Rescue 18, SU 18, MICU 18, Ambulance 18, and Fire Police.

   
Sunday, May 17, 2009 - At 1540 hrs, Station 18 and Station 15 were dispatched to the 1600 blk of Log Run Road for an MVA with injuries. Chief 15 arrived on scene stated roadway blocked and atleast 4 injuries. MICU 18 and Ambulance 15 transported two patient and two refusals were obtained. Fire Police shut down Log Run Rd at Bloomingrove Rd and Lycoming Creek Rd. Units on scene were Rescue 18, MICU 18, Ambulance 18, Special Unit 18, Brush 18, Engine 15, and Ambulance 15.

   
Saturday, May 16, 2009 - At 0920 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA on Northway Road in the area of the Stopper Apartments. MICU 18 reported 2 vehicles involved and 1 patient still in the vehicle. Rescue 18 responded and was instructed by MICU 18 to remove the roof of one of the vehicles. Rescue 18 and MICU 18 were on scene.

Thursday, May 07, 2009 - Aroudn 1830 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the intersection of East 3rd St and Old Montoursville Rd. Units on scene reported roadway blocked, fluids leaking, and 1 injury. Rescue 18 controlled fluids and helped with patient care, MICU 18 transported with assistance from Ambulance 18, and SU 18 assisted with traffic control.

   
Saturday, April 25, 2009 - After returning to service from previous alarm, Station 18 was dispatched to Westminister Dr and Reed St for a reported MVA with atleast two injuries. Rescue 18 responded for fluid hazards and assisted EMS with patient care and packaging. MICU 18 and Ambulance 18 transported two patients to a nearby facility. After hazards were controlled and roadway was open, Rescue 18 returned to service.

   
Friday, April 24, 2009 - At 1920 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to Fairview Road for a reported MVA with entrapment and one confirmed injury. Unit arrived on scene to find one pick-up truck on its drivers side with one patient trapped under the vehicle. The patient was extricated from under the vehicle and transported to MICU 18 which took the patient to Loyalsock Twp. High School where LifeFlight 1 was waiting for the patient. Units responding where Rescue 18, MICU 18, Ambulance 18, Special Unit 18, Pltn Chief 91, Medic 1-91, and Engine 18 had control of the landing zone.

Monday, April 20, 2009 - At approximately 1730 hours, Station 18 was dispatched for an MVA with injuries at the intersection of Four Mile Drive and Lafayette Parkway. Upon arriving on-scene, units found 2 vehicles in the roadway and confirmed 1 injury. Rescue 18 assisted EMS with patient packaging and controlled fluid hazards. EMS went enroute to the hospital and Rescue 18 returned available.

   
Saturday, April 11, 2009 - At 1430 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA at the 700 blk of Pleasant Valley Road. Units on scene found one vehicle on its roof with no one around the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was found a short time later at his residence. Rescue 18 and MICU 18 responded.

   
Tuesday, March 24, 2009 - At 1716 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to a reported MVA at the 1800 block of Four Mile Drive with no injuries, fluids leaking. Ambulace 18 and Rescue 18 responded. Rescue 18 controlled the fluid hazard and returned available.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009 - At 2059 hrs Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA with reported 1 injury in the area of Old Montoursville Road and East 3rd street. Rescue 18 responded to find one vehicle overturned in a ditch. Ambulance 1-20 was requested for patient care. Rescue 18 stabilized the vehicle and assisted Ambulance 1-20 with patient removal. Rescue 18 returned available at 2203 hours

   
Tuesday, March 17, 2009 - Station 18 was dispatched to Warrensville Road for an MVA with unknown, RP did not stop. Chief 18 arrived on scene, found 1 vehicle off the side of the road, no occupants. Found that vehicle was being towed behind a pick up truck, went around the turn, became unhitched off the trailer and rolled up the enbankment. Rescue 18 was on scene for lighting, SU and fire police were used to run traffic down one lane.

Saturday, March 14, 2009 - While the working box was being dispatched, Station 18 got alerted to a multiple vehicle MVA with one injury at the intersectino of Shiffler Ave and East 3rd St. Eldred Twp Fire Department assisted Loyalsock EMS with this incident. Ambulance 1-18 transported 1 female driver.

   
Wednesday, February 25, 2009 - Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA on East Third St and Country Club Drive. Units arrived on scene and found three vehicles blocking the roadway. No injuries were reported. No services were required by the fire department.

   
Sunday, February 01, 2009 - Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA on Lincoln Drive and Westminster Drive. EMS obtained refusals and Fire contained a small fluid leak.

   
Friday, January 16, 2009 - Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA on I-180 at the Faxon Exit. MICU 18 transported 1 female occupant. Small fluid hazard was contained by fire deparment. Debris and traffic control was also utilized.

   
Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - Station 18 was dispatched to an MVA on Log Run Road. Upon arriving on scene, found a pickup truck down over a 15 ft enbankment with occupants found sitting on the top of the hill. No services required by the fire department.
