Tanker 18 Special Called to Woodward Township
Friday, July 16, 2010 - At approx 1845 hours Tanker 18 was special called to a working structure fire on Route 973 in Wooward Township. Once on scene, Tanker 18 was used for tanker shuttles and it's crew for fire suppression and overhaul. Tanker 18 remained on-scene for nearly 4 hours while assisting Station 2 with foaming the structure and clean-up.
Units responding were MICU 94, Engine 4-45, Rescue 45, Engine 2, Tanker 2, Tanker 15, Tanker 16, Tanker 18, Tower 3, Engine 14, and Tanker 31.
Working Kitchen Fire
Friday, June 18, 2010 - At approx. 0800 hours Station 18 was dispatched to TGI Fridays on east Third Street for a kitchen fire. Chief 2-18 arrived on scene to find nothing showing exterior. Chief 2-18 made entry and found the dining area filled with smoke. Engine 18 responded and pulled a line into the D side of the building. Ladder 20 assisted with ventilation and checking for extension.
Units responding were Engine 18, Tanker 18, MICU 18, AMB 18, and Ladder 20.
Engine 18 Responds to 2nd Alarm Working Fire in Williamsport
Wednesday, April 21, 2010 - At approx. 0230 hours Engine 18 was dispatched to Box 1 in the City of Williamsport for a working structure fire. Engine 18 responded with 6 personnel and were instructed by command to send manpower forward when on-scene. Engine 18's crew 1st assignment was to ladder side B of the structure. After completing that task, Engine 18's crew reported back to command and were instructed to report to Operations for another assignment. 3 personnel were sent to the 3rd division and another 2 were sent to work on the 1st and second divisions.
Units responding to the scene were Engine 2-1, Tower 1, Engine 14-1, Squad 14, Engine 18, Ladder 20, Squad 2 (RIT), MICU 1-91, Ambulance 91, Platoon Chief 91, and Station 14 fire police.. Ladder 11 and Engine 8 were sent to city headquarters.
Fatal Structure Fire in Hepburn Township
Friday, March 19, 2010 - At approx 0430 hours a second alarm was called for sending Tanker 18 and Mobile Air 18 to a working structure fire with entrapment in Hepburn Township. Tanker 18 responded and was ordered into the scene to supply water to Engine 14 and send manpower forward. Tanker 18's crew went to staging and was instructed to enter the structure on side B and keep the fire from spreading in that direction. The ceiling and walls were opened to prevent extension and the fire in the garage extinguished. Tanker 18 remained on-scene to assist Station 15 with overhaul and the removal of the victim. Tanker 18 returned to service at approximately 1100 hours.

Engine 18 Responds to Fatal Structure Fire
Thursday, March 04, 2010 - At approximately 0430 hrs, Engine 18 was dispatched, along with Station 1 to a working structure fire at 215 Germania Street in the City of Williamsport. The first arriving Chief on the scene reported heavy fire coming from the structure and requested a second alarm. Engine 18 was requested by command to establish its own water supply and take the front of the structure to the East Side. Due to limited access to the structure, Engine 18 and Engine 2-1 were the only two Engines able to gain access to the structure. The Engine 18 crew was split sending 3 to the front of the structure, and 2 to assist WBF on the east side. After the bulk of the fire was knocked down, Engine 18 was moved in order to get Ladder 20 in place to open the roof. The Engine 18 crew was reassigned to RIT while the RIT team was reassigned to help with the removal of the vicitim. Due to integrity problems with the structure, this was a prolonged recovery effort. Engine 18 was placed back in service at approx. 1030 hrs.

Engine 18 Responds to Mutual Aid Box 1-4
Saturday, January 30, 2010 - At 0311 hrs, Engine 18 was dispatched to Box 1-4 in the City of Williamsport for a working bedroom fire. Engine 18 arrived on-scene and was instructed by command to establish RIT. Units responding were Engine 18, Engine 1, Engine 4-1, Engine 14-1, Tower 1, and Engine 14 was moved to city headquarters. Working Fire Box 18-4
Friday, January 29, 2010 - At 0645 hrs, Station 18 was dispatched to a working trailer fire on Freedom Road in Loyalsock Township. Chief 2-18 was first to arrive on-scene and found heavy fire from the rear of the structure. Engine 18 laid 400 ft of supply line and made the initial attack on the fire along with Engines 2-1 and 14-1. Units responding were MICU 18, Engine 18, Tanker 18, Rescue 18, Engine 2-1, Engine 14-1, Engine 14, Tanker 15, Tanker 22, and Squad 2 (RIT).
